The General Synod of the Anglican Church of Canada just voted to give me voice, so now I feel like I need to come up with something provocative to say, just on principle!

Such as: demand a consensus about whether this church has a PROlocutor or a proLOCutor... (I have heard both, and personally would have said the second, but that seems to be the minority report...)

Episcopalians! There is a Yemeni coffee place (Haraz) just a short walk from the convention center, and this is the best thing that has happened to me in a year. If you have never had Yemeni coffee or pastries, I strongly endorse both (more strongly than any resolution!) #gc81
