Huge congrats to Zegni Triki for the very well-deserved Tinbergen Award for her exciting research integrating cognition and ecology to understand variation in nature 🐟🐠🐡🧠🏅🥳

Finishing the #ECBB2024 conference with a plenary by @ethoges Tinbergen Award winner Zegni Triki! We’ve learned that fish have very plastic brains, and their cognitive abilities are affected by factors like social enrichment and ecological selective pressures during ontogeny 🐟🐟

I've had a brilliant week in Zurich for #ECBB2024! Feeling very grateful for the opportunity to present my work and meet so many cool people doing cool research. Finished up today with a trip to the zoo, they even had quails ! 🐥

Last week I had a great time attending ecbb2024 in beautiful Zurich. Luckily I could take my baby with me because free childcare was provided. Special thanks to Anna Lindholm for making it possible, & really hope that upcoming conferences will follow!

Had such a great time at ecbb2024. Listening first-hand to the latest developments in behavioural ecology is truly inspiring, and was the right motivation boost for my upcoming research stay in Australia at Ecology&EvolutionANU with Damien R. Farine! 🦅
