Two things are known so far. One: Israel struck dozens of schools, tents, mosques, and apartments at once, using +100 warplanes. Two: This level of bombardment has not been seen for some time, and Gaza has no functioning civil defence, first responders, or hospitals.

На ваква страшна погибија, многу е нормално луѓето да се собираат. Не можеш тоа да го сопреш. А нечовечки е и да помислиш да го сопираш.

Wow. Read this full letter from Mahmoud Khalil. "I have always believed that my duty is not only to liberate myself from the oppressor, but also to liberate my oppressors from their hatred and fear."

Let’s be absolutely clear - these are deliberate, targeted assassinations of journalists by Israel. The Israeli military has full operational/intelligence control of Gaza, they deploy the most advanced surveillance/weapons systems available, so they know exactly who they target.

I'm amazed this is not getting more coverage. On Friday and over the weekend police officers raided the homes of around eight young people active in Youth Demand, a non-violent organisation which campaigns around climate change and Palestine. This is in the wake of, and in

Mahmoud Khalil with an op-ed from detention— "Faced with a movement for divestment they couldn't crush, your trustees opted to set fire to the institution…History will redeem us, while those who were content to wait on the sidelines will be forever remembered for their silence."

It took the Pentagon Papers in Vietnam & the leak of Abu Ghraib torture photos in Iraq to catalyze a radical shift in U.S. support for war. Hundreds of videos, photos, have flowed from #Gaza daily & yet intimidation/punishment quells uproar. May it be a volcano waiting to erupt.

really struck and moved by khalil’s insistence in all his public communications on highlighting that this system has not sprung up suddenly to persecute him, or just people like him, but has been built up for decades and trampled so many people

Said speaking of Fanon. Excellent food for thought. Young generations should absolutely watch "The battle of Algiers" to get a vivid sense of a settler colonialism that has been defeated, but at an incredibly great cost. Palestine is far beyond that.
