I don’t think a lot of people understand the sort of compensatory picks that come from FA. If you let Phillips go, you’re getting a third round pick back. Dallas Goedert will net a 3rd or 4th. Dean will net another 3rd or 4th. With 2/3 round picks, you can trade for a high 2nd.
