This #COVID crisis has cracked open some gaping holes in my view....in general I don’t think medical staff understand the dietitians role or the impact nutrition may play in recovery.

I asked about PPE 5 weeks ago and was told that the Govt were seeking UK manufacturers. Yesterday, the Govt announced that the companies who came forward 5 weeks ago, have only just started the process. The Government were asleep at the wheel - it's cost the lives of NHS staff.
