Today marks the beginning of #16DaysOfActivism to end Gender Based Violence. Over the next 16 days we will keep you informed of local events. We hope you will be encouraged to get engaged in activity and help make action happen locally to end all forms of #VAWG.

In the last 6 years alone 56 people have been murdered as a result of domestic abuse, an average of 9 people every year. We've partnered with Glasgow Caledonian University to #EraseTheGrey & tackle the myths about gender based violence, & the behaviours which can cause serious harm or death.

So sad to hear of Tina Hendry's passing tonight. Such an important part of the ACEs agenda in Scotland, we owe her so much. Thinking of her family and friends. X
