Thought for the morning… The chaotic scenes in today’s politics spring from a multi-decade collapse in government/industrial competence, rampant high-time preference behaviour and an incapacity to think/invest for the long-term. Governance by weak, unserious people = disaster.

On this day 81 years ago, British troops landed in Normandy, to liberate Europe. They gave their lives, because they knew Britain, & Europe, were worth fighting for. We must remember them, & pay back their sacrifice by ensuring what they fought for survives. #DDay
