The fabulous selection of non-fiction books in the school library proved a useful resource along side the internet for our research into Ancient Greek architecture. Look out for the Doric, Ionic and Corinthian pillars on so many local buildings!

Claire and the fabulous volunteers at St George’s Church - thank you so much for inviting us to visit the prayer stations this afternoon. It gave us all time to reflect and understand that there are so many ways in which we can communicate with God.

In our last Tag Rugby session today, we developed our grubber kicks and punt kicks. What amazing progression in just one half term. Thank you to sale Sharks and their coach Nick. 🏉

Year 6 demonstrated their entrepreneurial skills with a fabulous MiniMart. The whole school enjoyed such a fabulous range of activities and in addition we raised £325 for UNICEF who support children all over the world.

As part of the Worship on Wheels initiative, our amazing year 6 girls in Big Story Club led an assembly to Year 5 and Year 6 pupils at Bowden Church School. We are so proud of you girls.

The upper juniors enjoyed a visit from author Kimberly Whittam who explained what inspired her to write ‘Quiet Storm’. It is an empowering novel about family, friendship and finding confidence in who you are.

Thank you to Nicola and Jan for their fabulous session with year 6. Everyone was totally engaged and we all learned new ways of keeping ourselves safe online and how to deal with difficult situations.

Arrived at Min-y-Don. We enjoyed our lunch on the lawn, had a tour of the grounds and now we are all set for our first activity. 🛶🧗‍♀️🏹
