3rd place finish behind Clarinda and Treynor today at FieldFest. They went up in placement from last week. Congrats, Marching Eagles! Great job to all the bands that competed today as well!

🚨State Competition Day 🚨

The Underwood Marching Eagles did not end their season with a Division I (Superior) rating as we had planned. We did end with a DIvision II (Excellent) rating. Lots of growth and a lot of learning this season. We are very proud of our band!

Well done on a great performance last night to Austin Harold, Charlie Brummett, Ilya Hetfield, and Taiden Ragland. The bands they performed in sounded AMAZING! Special shout-out to Taiden for making All-Iowa Honor Band! He will be going to Des Moines in May to perform!

Underwood Winter Guard just got done with an OUTSTANDING performance at State! Great job, ladies! Now fingers crossed until results! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Good luck to dance team who competes tonight and tomorrow!

Great job on a great day at SWIBA jazz! Congrats to Samantha Spiker and Jonathan Rosas who received outstanding soloist awards. Also, congrats on outstanding trumpet section! We did not place but we are proud of how far this group has come this year with all the obstacles.

Congrats to Underwood Jazz for placing second at Bluffs Jazz Festival today!

Yesterday these 14 students represented Underwood in the 2023 WIC Honor Band. They had around 3 hours of rehearsal and playing with students from 8 other schools. Their concert performance was wonderful!

Underwood Band was represented well today at IHSMA solo and ensemble contest! 🥇 6 Division I (Superior) ratings 🥈 8 Division II (Excellent) ratings 🥉1 Dicision III (Good) rating Way to go Eagles!

Last night was a HOME RUN! ⚾️ The 4th and 5th graders hit their concert out of the park and the crowd went wild! Well done to all the performers and Mrs. Schiphoff on a great concert performance last night!
