Congratulations to 2x State Champion Addison Lanton on her commitment to play tennis at LSU! The most accomplished athlete in the 185-year history of Elgin Academy hasn't lost a set in IHSA competition since 2021. We can't wait to see what you achieve as a Tiger!

Following her official visit in March, five-star recruit Addison Lanton (UTR 9.76 / #31 in class of 2025 / #3 in Illinois Tennis Recruiting) has verbally committed to @LSUwTen. The Elgin Academy Athletics junior is a 2-time state champ that has not lost a set in Illinois High School Association #IHSA competition since '21.

Arya and Samuel headed to State for Tennis Doubles! This will be Arya's 3rd trip with three different partners. Samuel will be making his first State appearance. Awesome job guys!

Going through the state results from this past season & saw something interesting. Elgin Academy's Addison Lanton won the Class 1A girls tennis state championship this past Oct. Elgin Academy is closed now. She joins a short list of champions in a school's final year.
