Flyers just played two back to back competitive games against two arguably Stanley cup contending teams and the media acts as if they are a bottom 5 team in the league that just got blown out by 5 at home

Do I believe michkov should be getting more ice time? Yes, but one thing I will say is that with the ice time he has been given he isn’t very noticeable, you know zegras is on the ice every time, I get they are two different players but michkov should still have that effect

This is just ridiculous, you can have your own personal opinions about a person but there is a certain respect and sense of decorum that comes with being the president and this is not it

I think michkov is going to be a phenomenal player, but can we stop blindly defending him all the time just because of his ice time?

Every day I’m reminded how dumb flyers media is, and it’s not even media, it’s fans who have built up a reputation through the years over Twitter and YouTube who think they have some upper hand on the rest of fans and act as if their opinion is gold

Ersson has to come up a save, just plain and simple, Panarins second and the late PP goal were both soft goals, penalties and bad goals are going to happen but at some point something has to give, you need to come up with a big save more times than giving up a bad goal

Flyers fans emotions on a daily basis are essentially driven by a 21 year old Russian forward and how they believe he should be developed

Eric Coyle (@e_dub15) 's Twitter Profile Photo

If you follow flyers content people on Twitter you’d be convinced that the flyers have no prospect pool whatsoever, but following them during world juniors you’d think they have the best prospect pool ever

Eric Coyle (@e_dub15) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Don’t let any of the flyers downers on here distract you from the fact that what they have to say about the team means absolutely nothing and this is a very competitive hockey team

Eric Coyle (@e_dub15) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Little surprised by the length if I’m being honest but looking at what other centers have gotten recently it’s actually a decent deal, the hope obviously is that with the change of scenery and the fact he’s played well with the current core that his production will continue

Eric Coyle (@e_dub15) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The aggressive overreaction to everything the flyers do is hysterical, there are so many armchair GMs on the internet that swear they know how to manage a hockey club, “just tank it’s so easy”, what social media has done is create fans that legit think they know better than a pro

Eric Coyle (@e_dub15) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This flyers team does not suck, people will tell you otherwise, they will pull whatever they need to in order to convince you that they do, but they don’t, do they need to make some changes? Absolutely but to simply just say they stink just isn’t true

Eric Coyle (@e_dub15) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I don’t understand why criticism of a young player isn’t allowed? He has been touted as the next great Russian player, a high skill guy who fell in the flyers lap yet in year two isn’t really producing at the level everyone thought, regardless of ice time he doesn’t look himself

Eric Coyle (@e_dub15) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Spot on, I hate the one sided coin view of this whole thing, two things can be correct, he definitely needs to play more but he also has not shown the signs of development that we have all hoped, regardless of linemates, a guy of his skill level makes it work
