and here you are, slowly returning back to yourself. with softness, with love, wearing energy that feels like a brand new outfit but fitting of who you’ve always been, with kindness, with patience, healing parts of yourself along the way. you were always worth the wait.

As the year comes to a close, I will in fact, not be working harder. I will not be finishing strong. I will be resting.

I have never come back from any holiday feeling relaxed, refreshed & reinvigorated to get back into work. I come back with the taste of freedom, still fresh in my mouth, a renewed hatred for work, and a strong suspicion that this is not what I should be spending my life doing.
