At the #PathwaysToProgressLearningEvent, Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmad Bharath, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Health, highlighted Pakistan’s progress and challenges in achieving #UHC and the critical need to strengthen #PHC.

In Pakistan, health data can transform decision-making, yet challenges exist. The #PathwaysToProgressLearningEvent showcased HMIS innovations from Punjab, Sindh & KP to drive policy & service improvements through system integration, data-driven planning & monitoring.

Climate change is worsening health risks in Pakistan, straining health systems. At #PathwaysToProgressLearningEvent, E4H, WHO, UNICEF & govt leaders discussed climate resilience in health, workforce preparedness & risk assessments. Urgent action is needed to build adaptation.
