1/ Two years ago today, on 4/25/22, Twitter’s Board accepted Elon Musk’s offer to acquire the company at $54.20/share.

As an ex-director for civic integrity at Twitter, I’ve watched what Musk has done since then.

And today is my last post on this platform.

I’m leaving.

Unsure what other indicators university administrators need to see they’re on the wrong side of history when cops start arresting their philosophy professors.

this violence against peaceful student protesters at UT Austin is absolutely horrifying—and should be condemned in the strongest terms by every politician & mainstream journalist

You can’t suspend students for peaceful protests if members of your own faculty won’t enforce the terms of the suspension. 🙃

You have to fuck up on a truly historic level to get the NYPD to say “even we think these were meaningless arrests.” They love meaningless arrests!

I like the way that CNN handles this. We have no right to view the bodies of the dead & their lifeless faces. But CNN believes it's important that we do see & says that it obtained the family's permission to show them. Humane & humanizing. We need more of this kind of journalism.
