We’ve been enjoying #dyslexiaawarenessweek with GCHQ at their awareness event.  We’ve learnt lots to inspire us on our journey to educate #gloucestershire educators and are excited to learn how valuable #neurodiversity will be in the workplace of the future.  #dyslexiaweek2021

We’re working with the largest school in #Gloucestershire Cheltenham Bournside School Trips & Visits. Their teachers are being encouraged to use the Made By Dyslexia free training. They’re leading the way in our county as we redefine dyslexia as a strength. We want all #glos #teachers to join in ⭐️

⭐️Exciting news for #dyslexiaawarenessweek as Esteemed Academics secure funding with Bath Spa University and partner with Gloucestershire Dyslexia Association⭐️ Dr Georgia Niolaki & Dr Aris Terzopoulos are collaborating with GDA to offer local #school teachers free #dyslexia workshops

Georgia, a specialist #dyslexia advisor, assessor and Senior Lecturer Bath Spa University and Aris, a Psychologist in the area of language development #Educational Practitioner and Lecturer in Psychology at Birmingham City University alongside the GDA will be presenting the #workshops

Chairwoman of the #Gloucestershire Dyslexia Association, Claire Penketh said; “it’s a fabulous opportunity for schools to learn from these high level academics and we look forward to working with them on the project as we continue to raise #dyslexiaawareness in schools“
