The Islanders were not playing to win and their coach didn't make any adjustments as his team stopped playing. He needs to use his time out, adjust what they are doing and push them away from the shell they went into. 1 shot on goal. Do not tell me that Roy didn't see that

The Isles have not played more than 1 complete game since the Olympic break with repeat bad starts multiple goals deficits and a poor PP. Patrick Roy isn't showing me the fire behind the bench to affect his team's lack of consistency.

Can anyone who watches every game explain the system Roy employs? I don't see anything that shows me there is anything different from the previous coaches other than he has an 18 year old phenom and 2-3 other players keeping him employed.

#isles fans.only 4 NHL HOF players have become a head coach and won a Stanley cup. If you think "greats" can coach and win you are historically mistaken. Roy is not capable. He fails in each game they lose to get the players back to playing smart. They unravel and he does nothing
