A5 Thanks for everything AdsLiaison! What’s a hotter topic for you right now, Performance Max or Broad match? Which of these changes do you feel the community prefers? #PPCChat

A2. I’ve got dashboard reports built for week-on-week, MTD and YoY comparisons so I’m looking at those a lot. I also get direct feedback/access to clients’ backend sales where I can frequently view actual sales performance through the month. #ppcchat

A3. Conversion tracking mainly, and where the dips in performance are coming from. Usually looking at product level as well, in case there are any products that are out of stock, disapproved or removed from the site without telling us. #ppcchat

A4 Mainly highlighting the issue/cause and a brief explanation about it. Not all clients want an in-depth explanation, but they do want to know what the next steps are and who’s responsible. So it’s on me to give them that POA. #PPCChat

A5 If we can’t find anything in our accounts/on site, we ask the client if there’s been anything going on in their business lately, in-stores, reviews, issues with payment gateways/processing, etc. Then review macro issues, which in SA there’s likely something. #ppcchat

Looking at exchange rates for CPCs are so annoying. Looks super expensive when I’m looking at Rands but likely normal for that market. Anyone got some benchmarks for avg. CPC for shopping campaigns in AUS?

I’ve been tracking my path to purchase of my recent purchases and it really shows you how complex the journey is. Sometimes I want to message the business owner and explain how long my journey was and why I purchased so they have a bit better understanding of the process.

I’ve replaced late night gaming 🎮 with going down a rabbit hole aimlessly through accounts 🌀 A lot of what I’ve learnt in this last year has come from doing this.

Product Type is a very underrated attribute. Seen a few feeds relying on the website’s original product categorisation, which is *usually* very basic/broad and leaves a lot on the table.

Data is a compounding competitive advantage in the digital ecosystem. Most SMBs don't have access to the same tech or budgets as their larger competitors, so they end up falling farther & farther behind. This is a fantastic product that will help SMBs collect, store & deploy

In SA, SARS (South African Revenue Services) have implemented a 45% import duty tax plus VAT for ALL order sizes to prevent Temu & Shein dominance here and assist local online retailers. My fiance is bummed, but it’s great for my clients! Get them bastards! 😬
