Lovely walk Devon Wildlife Trust Bystock reserve this afternoon. Sunshine, birdsong including Blackcap and Chiffchaff and active Wood ants nests. 4 male and 3 female Tufted duck on the reservoir and 1 Moorhen. Exmouth Wildlife Group South East Devon Wildlife

Great to see Southern Marsh Orchid Devon Wildlife Trust Bystock Pools this afternoon. Also good numbers of Meadow Brown 🦋 Downy Emerald dragonflies are still on the wing and there were a pair of Red-Eyed damselflies mating on the main pool. ☀️🌸😃

Sideshore Community Hub is holding a Mossy Carpet & wildlife event on Tuesday 20 August, 10-3. Come & learn about moss and make some pom poms to add to the Mossy Carpet. The fab South East Devon Wildlife team will be there too, with games and info on our local nature reserves. All welcome!
