The first recommendation from the Covid Inquiry clearly outlines what IPC leads SHOULD be doing: ▪️ensure IPC decisions are underpinned by a CAUTIOUS approach to transmission risk ▪️account for ALL plausible routes of transmission ▪️not confine guidance to specific procedures
