The Holy Prophet had received injuries during Uhud and was bleeding from his face. While someone wiped his face, he said: “How shall a people prosper that treats their Prophet in such manner who calls them unto the Lord? O Allah, forgive my people for they know not.”

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prohibited animal abuse. He(PBUH) said that the one who kills an animal for sport is cursed. He(PBUH) also chastised people who overload their horses or camels and told them to “Fear Allah concerning these animals that cannot speak” (Abu Dawood)
