The SEC about to ban outsider trading

I know this GameStop stuff is funny, but you have to remember this is hurting real people who own multiple boats

This is unacceptable. We now need to know more about Robinhood’s decision to block retail investors from purchasing stock while hedge funds are freely able to trade the stock as they see fit. As a member of the Financial Services Cmte, I’d support a hearing if necessary.

Inquiries into freezes should not be limited solely to Robinhood. This is a serious matter. Committee investigators should examine any retail services freezing stock purchases in the course of potential investigations - especially those allowing sales, but freezing purchases.

OH MY GOD

Remember, this GME and AMC thing started because hedge funds were screwing over GameStop and shorting their stock. Traditionally hedge funds run railroad over the little guy. In this case, hedge funds got DESTROYED by the little guys. So now they're trying to rig the rules.

If you simply let this blow over, you are no better than the hedge funds. You are saying you are okay with a corrupt system.
