Today in STEAM, Miss Altenburger’s 1st graders visited Mr. Burger’s 3rd graders to play the educational board games they invented! The 3rd graders designed these games especially for y5s, kindergarteners, and 1st graders. It was a blast watching their creativity come to life!

Congratulations to Mrs. Sauers, Mrs. Lein and Mrs. Marion on their retirements! They are wonderful teachers and even better people and we are certainly going to miss them. 💙

Thank you to the Dundee Dairy Queen for hosting tonight’s “Cones with Cops” event! Over 100 FREE ice cream cones were served to DCS students. Dundee Police Officers, including school resource officers Joe Gore & John Schiappacasse wished students a great and safe school year.

Today we taught students the bus expectations for PBIS. Ask your child how they can ROW like a Viking on the bus! Did you know that we teach all students the expectations for all parts of the building? This creates a safe and predictable environment for students to thrive! 💙
