Coming to Brierley Hill Library at 14.00 on the 14/6/25 is actor, director and author Miriam Sarin presents an interactive storytelling session that focuses on bringing your words to life. Miriam published her first novel, The Test , in 2023.

Coming to Stourbridge Library at 14.00 on the 21/6/25 is a panel of amazing fantasy authors discussing everything epic fantasy from world building, mythical animals, diversity in fantasy, character development and more!

Coming to Halesowen Library at 11.00 on the 12/6/25 is Judith Cutler and Edward Marston. Judith is often known as the West Midlands Queen of Crime novels and Edward Marston has written many crime novels set across multiple time periods. This is one not to miss!

Coming to Long Lane Library at 11.00 on the 14/6/25 is Amy Beashel, the author of three previous novels, including two for young adults, which have been nominated for the Carnegie and the Branford Boase awards among others. Her latest book, Bad Manners, was released in March 2025

Coming to Halesowen Library at 19.00 on the 11/6/25 is PJ Ellis,the author of Love & Other Scams and We Could Be Heroes, and Sex & Relationships Editor at Men's Health. His short fiction has been longlisted for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize. He lives in Birmingham

Coming to Lye Library at 14.00 on the 9/6/25 and Cradley Library at 14.00 on 18/6/25 is local author Michael Braccia. His novels Could It Be That Way, and the Banfield Tales are this year joined by his latest work, Vision of Another Life.

Coming to Dudley Library at 14.00 on the 13/6/25 is Elle Machray, an Observer Top 10 Debut Novelist and winner of the Somewhere: For Us Culture Award who featured on The List's Top 100 influential people of 2024. Her novel Remember, Remember reimagines the gunpowder plot.

Coming to Stourbridge Library at 18.00 on the 9/6/25 and Halesowen Library on 16.00 on the 13/6/25 are three Midlands-based writers and RLF Fellows – Juliet Clare Bell, Helen Kelly, Leila Rasheed who will discuss aspects of the writing life, with plenty of time for Q&As

Coming to Coseley Library at 19.00 on the 10/6/25 are I.I. Laverick and N.J. Lawton a local pair who write in the Steampunk Mystery Genre. The first novel they released together, The Pith and the Pendulum, is available now and they're now working on the next book in the series.
