These arms will fuel the illegal Saudi war on Yemen, leading to death and destruction. Its shows how little Tory rhetoric around human rights really means. It is an outrage and must be opposed. independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…

I’m not having ‘we did everything we could have done’ - neither should you. - Locked down too late THREE times - Left our borders open the whole time - Sent positive patients back into care homes - Eat Out to help out - Kept schools open 100,000 dead is on this government

The Saudis buying Newscastle makes far more news than buying £15 billion worth of British arms while bombing hospitals, weddings, sanitation systems & school buses in Yemen, with targeting help from British military personnel. No wonder only 49% of the public know the war exists

Three graves. An Iraqi, a Syrian and a Yemeni. All died at the Belarusian Polish border. This image embodies an entire generation: people on the run to live with the dignity they couldn’t find at home.

At least 30 people were killed trying to cross the English channel today. They were killed by scapegoating and callous indifference. They were killed by horizontal hatred and vertical solidarity. Words will never be enough...

When it reaches these temperatures and you think that one in 53 people in London is homeless and there are actually more bedrooms than people here, you know that hundreds of homeless people dying yearly in one of the richest cities in the world is just a cruel political choice.

Acute malnutrition threatens half of children under five in Yemen and nearly 400,000 are expected to suffer from severe acute malnutrition if emergency food does not reach them. $40 will provide enough food for a family of 5 for an entire month: launchgood.com/GiveOrphansHope

I wanted to change the channel. I wanted to keep driving. I wanted to stop looking. But I couldn't anymore. Too many people starving. Too many people freezing. Too many people fleeing. They go door to door, country to country, screen to screen hoping that you'll notice them.

According to this guy, middle class=white people. Everyone else is, well, a Muslim, brown, or Black refugee or potential refugee dressed poorly. His main argument is that white Europeans should only care about the humanity of white people. It's pretty straightforward.
