Church, pay attention to how partisanship forfeits your prophetic witness. Blind allegiance to a political party will lead you to compromise a true biblical worldview.

Accountability is not Christian persecution.

Jesus is easy to love but difficult to follow.

We have been conditioned to call out the work of the devil everywhere else but in our own camps.

What if the next generation of young Christians conceived of themselves less as training for spiritual combat and more being sent to serve the world that God so loves?

Christianity has a broken reputation in mainstream America not because of what the gospel demands but because many Christians have been discipled to hate the left more than they love Jesus — fight their political enemies more than follow the teachings of Jesus.

Christians, look back and study the pipeline of your discipleship. Faulty foundations are being exposed right now and it’s ok to change course in a direction that is truer to the way of Jesus.

I’ll stand by this: there is no political victory that is worth trampling on black people in America.

It is holy and righteous to call out what is wrong. To hold leaders to account. Racism is evil in context and out of context. It is better to stand with people than defend your politics.

The last 24 hours have made me think: maybe the revival Christians long for is hinging on the entire Church - left and right, Republican and Democrat - speaking truth to power.
