I will be presenting at TextXD on Dec. 6! Talking about my new work with Laszlo BarabasiLab Albert-László Barabási on "Hidden Citations" (case in point—when you use GR without citing Einstein:) What are their good/bad effects on science? See for details: textxd.org/speaker/meng/

Finally! It's been a long journey with Onur Varol and Albert-László Barabási. I'd like to note that Hidden Citations are not bad for authors. A paper with more hidden citations actually makes it more impactful — it's hidden from citation-counting tools, not the community.

Our work is on physicsworld 👇 Study finds that “foundational” work is often not properly cited, skewing its true impact physicsworld.com/a/hidden-citat…

Two papers accepted by Physical Review Letters and Science Advances so far this year! doi.org/10.1126/sciadv… doi.org/10.1103/PhysRe… With the same theme: *paths* (not links) play a very different and important role in quantum networks. RPI Science news: physics.rpi.edu/announcements/…
