Well, that certainly woke him up… if only very slowly. Eyes blink open, using his hands to block it. “I’m being attacked!” He said, tiredly.

Just pulls out his flask.

“A bit late for advice like that, Komaeda-kun.” Chuckling as he takes a drink.

“Thank you! It has been a while, hasn’t it. Did you miss me?”

“It does feel pretty empty, but in here now! For as long as I can be! Been up to anything?”

“You mean back at the Future Foundation? Can’t say I’ve been paying much attention myself, just been living my own life. Just trying to get it back I guess.”

“I’ve finally been able to relax a little, so I guess that’s something, hm?”

“Slowly but surely, Komaeda-kun. It’s been nice to get more breaks, but there’s also not been much to do anyway on my side.”

“Oh no, it’s been pretty great. But my vices are still my vices.”

Long lashes flutter open, “I’m just resting my eyes, Vanea-chan.”

Well now he’s wet… Eyes just slowly open, “why is that always everyone’s first solution. I’m not a heavy sleeper, you can just yell.”

“Hmm, I guess I was dozing off a little.” Pulling out his flask from his suit jacket, screwing off the top. “Ah well, I guess it was time to get moving again anyway.”

“Pretty heavy, I’m basically immune to its effects by now, but there are some surprises every now and then.”
