Today was suppose to be one filled with joy and cheer. However, unspeakable tragedy occurred today and our hearts go out to the little girl who lost her life during the parade. We pray for her, her family, her dance company and everyone at today's parade.

Rounding out our week of concerts, our amazing Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Advanced Percussion Ensemble perform tonight at 7:00 pm in the mainstage theater! We hope to see all of you there!

Drum Line starts back tomorrow! Looking forward to a great spring. New members are welcome and we will be learning some new cadences too!

Our Advanced Percussion Class enjoyed our rehearsal today with Mr. Nathan Daughtrey of C. Alan Publications for rehearsing us. They will perform the world premier of his commission "till the stars" on Wednesday, April 26th at 7pm. Hope you can join us for this very special performance!

Advanced Percussion brought down the house today performing their piece Glitzville! Congrats on winning the High School Large Percussion Division of Solo & Ensemble MPA, and thanks to Ravenscroft School Band for being gracious hosts!

We had an awesome week of Percussion Camp with our Middle School and High Schoolers. Thanks for their hard work in learning new techniques and performing some amazing music! See everyone in two weeks for Wind Ensemble Camp!

Congratulations to Nico Aschenbrenner on placing in the NC Central Region Jazz Band! Nico performed under the direction of two-time Grammy nominated trumpeter Alphonso Horne and will audition for All-State Jazz in March. Way to go, Nico!

Congratulations to sophomore percussionist Pierson Glielmi for placing 4th Chair Snare in the NC East Central District Band Competition! Pierson was selected from over 500 auditioned students and performed under the direction of Dr. David Starnes. Way to go, Pierson!

The 1909 Band was invited to play for our North Carolina Knights of Columbus Conference in Durham last night! What an honor to perform for those who serve our Catholic Church communities in so many ways. Looking forward to doing this again!
