The entire Abbott World Marathon Majors family is devastated by the news that our men’s series champion and world record holder Kelvin Kiptum and his coach Gervais Hakizimana have passed away. All of our thoughts are with their family and friends at this time.

I keep seeing posts where people validate their claims by saying “I spent 10+ hours binging Andrew Huberman”… that does not make you an authority on any subject.

WHAT A RACE! A dramatic conclusion to the women’s 5000m final. Kenya goes 1-2 with Beatrice Chebet and Faith Kipyegon! 🇰🇪 🥇 🥈 Sifan Hassan claims a bronze to finish the first of her three events at the Games. Next up: 10,000m. 🥉

Every single athlete would choose to run with the flu, covid, etc. We've seen it over and over. Hello, Jordan's flu game... Yes, spreading sickness is not good. But this isn't ebola in an elderly care center. Every athlete would have made the same decision to go for it.

This is going viral & it’s nonsense It’s his pre-race routine. You’re not abandoning your routine when you have doubts. If anything it helps him convince himself & body he’s okay. Also, it’s a sprint. Zero fatigue is coming from this. If anything it helps prime his muscles.

1. Noah Lyles was addressing why NBA Champs are not World Champs, NOT team USA. 2. USA are Olympic champs, NOT World Champs. That titled is held by Germany. You guys are lame for throwing shade at your countryman that has won a gold medal AND bronze, for speaking the truth.

The most baffling part of this entire discourse is that Noah Lyles was correct to start with, becomes an actual world champion, and somehow "lost the argument" because there's too many fans sharing the same dumb opinion on this app😭
