I went with Hon. Nabuyanda (Pronouns He/Him/His) to the funeral of a friend I made last month. Her loved ones honored her with music, story-telling, candle lighting, a reminder card, signing a condolence book and a meal. Despite our differences, mourning unites us in our humanity. Rest well, Luise!
