I’m very proud of my daughter, Baraka Bah ! She opened the Summer Concert 2025 for piano players at Klavierstunde München. I’m grateful to her tutor. As a mother, I draw great contentment from witnessing the fruit of putting my money into skilling my children.

Political parties in Uganda are a thriller with six seasons of at least twenty episodes each. Did the high court of Uganda really forbid James Akena from contesting for a third term as the president of Uganda People’s Congress? Wow… just wow!!!

When your daughter is your best shopping buddy and you share the same nerdy sense of humour, life is wonderful. Even in tough seasons, we have got each other’s back.

I curse this man for abandoning his church wife and three children for eighteen months in a scholarship-house in exile. As a Nalongo, I curse him as a twin.

In Luganda we say, “Ekuba omunaku tekya.” The plight that befalls the destitute does not end. This was my response to the church-wife’s reception a fresh court order of eviction that included a hefty monetary fine for the 18 more months her family liived in the scholarship-house.

When I was back home in Uganda, I had an Ipsum Toyota car called “War Bus” and a driver called Badiru. In Germany, public transport works well. But moving house from Bavaria to my university city has made me wish for both the War Bus and Badiru to transport me and my huge bags!

President Alhaji Hon. Muhammad Nsereko is intellectually stimulating. The Kampala Central MP has soft hands. As Nalongo, I enjoy feeding him my long brown breasts: he’s a Kigongo followed by twins - Babirye & Nakato. Nsereko alina omugongo omugazi. Eyeetika abalongo, asobola Uganda!
