Complaint and Datex: During Referrals he doesn’t “negotiate “ ( which is generally obstructive behaviour from the specialities ) and maintains that he has asked for the patient to be seen - they have to see patient regardless if they agree or not. 😅😅 I just can’t 🙏🤭😫

Both my parents are consultant doctors. Growing up, I watched them constantly work overtime and not get paid a single penny. Not once was their overtime work properly acknowledged. Now when a minority of doctors are getting paid their overtime worth, the vicious attacks begin.

When I was a new attending, I worked in a tiny rural ER in the middle of nowhere, Pennsylvania. 24-hour shifts—mostly quiet, sometimes brutal. No CT. No backup. Just me, a few nurses, and whatever rolled in.
