Today, on my 42nd birthday, I successfully defended my dissertation. I am so overcome right now. It took 5 years, but it’s Dr. James E. Ford finally.

As part of my dissertation, I'm inviting Black UNC students and alumni to share their experiences with prospective Black students! #BlackAndCarolinaBlue provides additional information to Black students so they arrive on campus better prepared for the things they may experience.
