Have had really good experiences of many excellent NHS managers throughout my career - but when they are malign or incompetent there is no accountability or ability to prevent them reappearing in a different role within the NHS - unlike all other health care professionalsโ€ฆโ€ฆ

Challenging Cases: 84yo WM w/AS, did TAVR. Used single Proglide in LCFA. Proglide got stuck and foot plate mechanism would not disengage from Ca+. We deconstructed and safely removed from the arteriotomy. Fantastic tips & tricks, big credit to Dr Amy Daliman TAVR Botโฉ

Very fascinating excerpt. Key lessons: 1. Medical Tribalism is real 2. In IR we have to adapt. That means focus on longitudinal clinical care and leaving the diagnostic radiology umbrella. 3. We didnโ€™t really learn any lessons. Why?

A dramatic complication of invasive imaging: aneurysm re-rupture. Some angiographers wouldn't even save these images, much less blast them on the pages of NEJM. doi.org/10.1056/NEJMicโ€ฆ
