Very nice and interesting work by Yuval Dor and colleagues on human beta cell senescence! academic.oup.com/nar/advance-ar… Of note: P16-high senescent beta cells that accumulate in aging do not have SASP, consistent with our opinion in Trends in Endocrinology & Metabolism
