When Hugo made his debut I never expected at this point to say that we genuinely missed him badly out there. Our attack was pure dog shit as was our kicking game. Sam will get better but jfc I never want to see Chad wearing our jersey in FG again

Job done, actually played surprisingly smart wet weather footy in the 2nd half for most of it. Can’t help but feel the sting of the phins upset yesterday, would’ve set up a win and sit in 8th game against them next week.

That was embarrassing. Losing your halfback doesn’t help but also doesn’t change your forwards being non existent. Laid no platform to do anything. I also don’t understand how when one player has the dropsies, every time it manages to infect every player. We are the best at it

Thoughts; -That was one of the best HT speeches Robbo’s ever given. We were cooked at HT -Sandon needs to be in the team next week, 14 over Ioelu -I would kill for Mark. Could think of 5-6 blokes I’d get rid of to keep him -Absolutely shocking that discipline helps win games

Top 8 in a rebuild year, cannot complain

That was one of the biggest bottle jobs I’ve seen. We absolutely dominated field position, we absolutely rolled them up field all night, they kicked from deep so many times and we had one of the worst attacking performances I’ve seen off the back of all that. So frustrating

Reflecting on the season. I said at the start of the year that Robbo has 2 years to prove that he is a good enough coach to rebuild a team. He did it in 1. 8 debutants, 6 of which are now regular FGers, a new pack leader, Teddy revived & we made finals. A successful season IMO

The Roosters and Round 1 performances, few things less compatible

It actually hurts to see how we’ve gone from one of the most competitive season ever in 2025 with one of the best ever finals series to back to this absolute rubbish Vlandoball set restart crap because the fat slob woke up one day and decided he wanted to change the rule again

The Sydney Roosters 🐓 deciding to bring back the Rooster Man song for every try is the greatest decision the club has ever made

Thoughts; -Mark is gonna be the death of me. So good but also so dumb. I love him -Naf an absolute weapon -Wong has easily been our most improved -Leading with 20 to go is why we bought DCE. A composed end to the game is a nice change -Few things sweeter than beating souths

Thoughts; -Unsurprising loss. Seen this show b4 -Dominated for 15min, needed 2 more tries from that. Didn’t touch the ball inside the 20 for the next 45 mins -Too many crash plays,bread & butter for riff -Pauga has regressed badly -Crichton hasn’t looked like he cares since 2024

No thoughts after that because Brookvale is a shit hole and you can’t see anything but I will say that 96% completion and 3 set restarts is a minor miracle. Turns out good discipline helps!

Not many thoughts considering that was a training run. Just glad we didn’t fall into the roosters trap & actually put the score on that we should. The main take away from that is F/A boost & a bit of confidence for Sam. Tho I still think he’s a bit lost with some decision making
