2016 - Weight 120kg; Severe uncontrolled diabetes (HbA1C - 12.7), severe hypertension, stress, sedentary life style, voracious eating mainly junk, little sleep … everything not considered healthy! #obesity #lifestylewellbeing

I found it difficult to find clothes of my size (waist 48”) 10 years ago and even now it remains a challenge (waist 28”). It was a terrible problem to have in the past but now it is a good one ! #obesity #lifestyle

BEYOND WEIGHT In 2016 my weight was 120kgs and HbA1C was 12.7 despite high medication. As I lost weight diabetes control was better. Last 3 years I have been off medications and my HbA1C has been stable at 5. Life style and optimal weight can reverse diabetes! #obesity #diabetes

While diabetes could be controlled/reversed, complications of diabetes particularly in the vital organs cannot be reversed once they set in.I developed neuropathy and despite getting rid of diabetes,neuropathy persists. Prevent the complications with strict control of diabetes.

WELLNESS-STEP 5 The next major change I made in my life style is diet.Breakfast,lunch and early dinner (high protein,low carb & balanced diet)including boiled vegetables,egg,lean meat,fruits,berries,nuts & fat-free yogurt. The total food I consume in a day is shown in the film.
