Thank you Humanists UK and Happy #WomenInScience day - to all my sisters in science. Look back a hundred years, and there were far fewer of us; we’ve come a long way, but we still have some way to go. Equality is fundamental to humanist ideals and the humanist movement.
Currently attending (online) the first (and so imperative!) #OneOceanSummit in Brittany, compelling talks and commitments (global treaty on high seas) from Ursula von der Leyen Emmanuel Macron and John Kerry. Can't help thinking there's a natural link to #INTERNATIONALDAYOFWOMENINSCIENCE

This month we celebrate an important milestone with 30 years of (mostly) weekly data from the #westernchannelobservatory #StationL4 phytoplankton time series. Huge credit & thank you to all those involved past & present Plymouth Marine Lab
Calling all zooplankton researchers! Heather Wander and I have set up a zooplankton identification Slack workspace for people to send photos of zooplankton they’re processing and for others to help with ID. Email Heather or me if you want to join! (details below) 🔬
