One of the coolest parts about #ASV2023 so far has been connecting with fellow William & Mary alumni. And not just W&M alums, but former Williamson Lab undergraduate researchers! Such a pleasure reconnecting with Joe (‘12) and meeting Melaina Jacoby (‘21). Kurt taught us well!

Last night we had a very successful climbers meet-up at ⁦ActiveClimbingAthens⁩ during #ASV2023. SO fun connecting with fellow virologist climbers from all over. Maybe we should make this an annual tradition?

#ASV2023 is officially a wrap. What a fantastic meeting made particularly fun by the amazing people I got to reconnect with and meet. Definitely a good reintroduction to conference life after a *long* time away!

Nothing like a building evacuation on a Friday to cap off the week. Apparently someone autoclaved a hazardous liquid on our floor (formaldehyde?). There was definitely a weird smell. So much for my sequencing! Glad DNA is stable for a while at room temp 😅
