What a magical day at the #pplbookfest! Thank you so much to Princeton PL Kids and JazamsToys for hosting! I love, love, love how many readers came to visit. ❤️ We sold all these copies of Gilded Girl & more! Mugging for the camera with my Middle Grade Authorcade buddy, Victor Pineiro!

Our Princeton Public Library's board of trustees has returned to in-person meetings. On Wed. evening, we were excited to welcome to our board our four teen reps--Emma, Lily, Mitalee, and Sophie--and happy also to have a handful of other TAB (Teen Advisory Board) members join us.

Our Teen Advisory Board is filled with amazing students from surrounding schools. We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated group who have the goal of strengthening the bridge between teens and the library. Follow them on IG: instagram.com/ppl.teens/

Maddow's eight-episode "Ultra" is, by far, the best podcast I've heard. She's a masterful storyteller and educator, and someone who seeks deeply for America to live up to its ideals.

What do you mean, "Drat that spell check!!"? I sorta liked hearing that Rabbis had entered the story. Made it sound a bit more ecumenical!

I had a colleague (in another district--many years ago, when having kids do "book reports was the thing) who joked that making kids do book reports was their punishment for reading the book. Your comment about reading not being torturous brought his comment to mind.
