Oh YaY! We did it again! Special Gratitude to the Entire Staff, Support System [Clinicians, Implementing partners], Families & Friends of the Ondo State Ministry of Health's Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Buruli Ulcer Control Programme (OD-STBLCP) under the Department of Public Health

Ondo State MOH Ondo State MoH Ondo State Primary Health Care Development Board. In December 2023, a few days back, we were able to retain the previous year's Awards received from the National TB, Leprosy & Buruli Ulcer Control Programme (NTBLCP) of the Federal Health Ministry

The Awards: More than 20% increase in Tuberculosis Case Notification of corresponding semesters of 2022 to 2023. And of course, Best State in Genexpert Utilization in the Country.

The Goal Standard for TB Diagnosis in Nigeria remains the Molecular Techniques of GeneXpert MTB-Rif Assay. As a State, having successfully ensured most of our TB samples [sputum, stool, etc] are tested with Genexpert, for the 2nd year in a row brought this Award back home.
