🚀 The amazing Voyage team (close to 50 now!) has spent two years developing our self-driving technology. In short: it's super impressive, and we're able to handle the complexity and edge-cases of our first market: retirement communities. See for yourself.

1️⃣ Prediction, planning and interaction with agents is a _huge_ challenge, arguably up there with perception. We've had a world-class team working on this problem for over a year, and the result is so good.

2️⃣ We have access to the world's best sim environment, powered by Applied Intuition. We test hundreds of scenarios (and thousands of permutations) on every code change. There's very few ways to 10x engineering, but this is one. appliedintuition.com

3️⃣ We've built a state-of-the-art perception stack utilizing deep learning on point cloud, from the ground up. Our stack includes fall-back detectors, in-case one detector misses something crucial. This is important, and tricky to pull off.

4️⃣ We're building a platform that _cannot_ fail silently, outfitted with health monitoring and diagnostics integrated throughout the stack. What happens if a sensor overheats? What happens if your primary compute kernel panics? This is the work you must do to remove the driver.

5️⃣ We believe truly driverless cars will be available at scale in retirement communities before anywhere else, available to a customer who _really_ needs this technology. It also turns out that these customers need to navigate gated entrances, too. No problem.

6️⃣ I believe this is a five-star review of our technology from a Voyage rider 😁

7️⃣ I know some will dissect our video for imperfections (I do the same), but I hope they go some way to showing how solvable our communities are. We're _really_ excited by how far along our technology is, and how close we are to helping move our loved ones every single day.
