Every night as Paul (our 9-month old) is getting ready for bed, we read Scripture. Tonight we read Psalm 68. Normally he is sleepy while we read, but when I read the title of Psalm 68, “God Shall Scatter His Enemies”, he burst out in laughter. I’m not sure how to respond😂

Leaving church. Sat through the sermon struck by what an AMAZING gift a preacher who clearly exposes God’s Christ-exalting Word is. How many people through history and across the world have not received such a gift. If he’s faithful, don’t take your preacher for granted.

Don’t want church to feel like a routine? -Pray before you get there. Ask God to speak to you. -Listen to worship music on the way. -Take a Bible with you, instead of relying on the screens. -Don’t run late. -Sing loudly like you mean it. -Take notes. -Expect God to move.
