I hate the “real R&B” is back takes because it hasn’t gone anywhere…you just limit yourself to certain artists. If they’re not mainstream ppl dont listen, but R&B has ALWAYS been there, never left, and ain’t going nowhere

Kehlani’s discography is actually a perfect representation of “people don’t care until the numbers/success makes them care”. Seeing everybody all of a sudden have an interest or call her music good, after the success of Folded, has annoyed a lot of long time fans. Me included🤷🏾‍♂️
