Honesty is THE true indicator of loyalty. When you can openly discuss your organization's challenges, and those at the lower levels feel comfortable speaking up, you foster loyalty. Being a 'yes man' and surrounding yourself with 'yes men' only hinders your program's growth. --

42 rising 7th & 8th graders coming in at 6:45 in the morning for training. And that’s just Day 1! 📈⚔️

A younger coach asked me this week: “Coach what do you do if you have a guy who isn’t meeting the standard but is talented and needs to play” Simply responded with: “Seems like you’re already bending the standard, therefore you have no standards at all” It’s nonnegotiable.

A simple rule for a happier life: Touch grass (and paper) every day.
