Motivation this morning as our students at Dry Ridge Elementary School kick off the first day of core content testing on the KSA.

A big day! First, we attended Abby’s graduation at University of Kentucky! Finally seeing my little girl walk across the stage after her high school graduation was wiped out by COVID was priceless! Then we had a great birthday dinner celebrating AJ!. It doesn’t get much better.

Very sorry to hear this . I saw Tim Kight speak twice and centered my beliefs around culture and mindset around your Dad’s very powerful work. His impact will continue for years to come. God bless you and your family during this very difficult time . Derek Avera

A great morning running at the Girls on the Run 5K. So proud of all of my Dry Ridge Elementary School students for crushing it today! Especially my running buddy Carrie who was nice enough to pull me along. She wanted under 30:00 and we ran 28:14!

A very fun but busy day at Dry Ridge Elementary School. We celebrated our Girls on the Run 5K participants along with the graduating class of 2024 from Grant County High School, and had our 4th and 5th Grade Field Day! Not bad at all for a Monday!

Loved my lunchtime “business meeting” with 3 students who wanted to propose a new club for next year. Very impressed with their preparedness and their presentation! Well done boys!

Wrapped up year #20 in education today and year #4 as Principal at Dry Ridge Elementary School. I am so proud of my students, staff, and teachers. They crushed it this year. I am lucky to work with amazing people who deeply care about our students and our community.
