Harry Reid was a poor kid from Searchlight who went on to transform Nevada & the country during his decades of service in the Senate. It's been one year since we lost him, but his memory & his legacy continue to live on. Sending my love to Landra & the entire Reid family today.

5.17.23 #DACA Update: Judge Hanen of Texas has scheduled a hearing on June 1st to continue the pursuit of ending protections for DREAMers who have DACA. At this time renewals are still open, new applications remain frozen.

The keynote speaker for the TheDream.US New Scholar Welcome is Jose Antonio Vargas, founder of Define American and one of the most incredible humans who happens to be undocumented - still. Like the majority of the students in todays cohort, he was unable to apply for #DACA.

.gabypacheco1 leads TheDream.US scholars in pledging to do their best and continue their academic careers. As she shares her personal story, we’re reminded of how much our stories have changed over the years but they’ve remained incredibly the same. We continue to rise.
