Unemployment crisis is getting worse this year. 646 000 entered labour force and economy shed 71 000 jobs during first 2 quarters of 2024. Number of unemployed people increased by 718 000 to 12.4m. Unemployment rate has increased to 42.6% from 41.1%. We cant continue like this.
