Our field has lost a giant, a corrections pioneer. The Twitter tributes are pouring in, honoring Ed Latessa - the man he was, the people he helped, and the legacy he leaves behind. He paved an honorable path, and for that we are thankful and indebted.

Im thankful that I was able to take his class and learn from him firsthand. He always had this intense passion in his work and everything he did. Rest in peace Dr. Latessa.
