Thankful for this girl each and every day.

What a week. Started with learning that my college prof and external member of my dissertation committee passed away, and ended with me submitting my portfolio for promotion to full professor. So much more to reflect on than “teaching, service, and professional development.”

Daisy’s new bestie, Puppy Max, has kept her from finishing grading student assignments for me. 😍

Taking a brain break from grading and this gem crossed my path on Pinterest. I’m giggling so hard, I’m crying, and I can’t stop. I’m so very tired.

Another big day of zooming with dog friends. We’re keeping Daisy’s social calendar full now that she’s an only pup at home, and she’s only a little resistant to sharing the limelight. 😝

Daisy has learned from the most recent deep freeze and now prepared herself for the rest of a VT winter. She is more prepped than I am for daily life.

I might just have done the most crazy spontaneous thing of my life-just bought tickets to Vegas for our 12th anniversary to see Foo Fighters and Fall Out Boy on night 2 of the iHeartRadio festival. Chas has wanted to see Vegas, but he’s really just along for this ride. 😝
